How It All Began
Asha Jyothi began in June 2007 when Saji and Cynthia John recognised the need for quality, accessible skill training that could open real doors to employment and financial independence.
What started small has grown into an organisation dedicated to delivering quality vocational education that empowers women and youth to find jobs, build livelihoods, and achieve lasting career success.

Are the courses free? What are the fees?
All courses are subsidized. Asha Jyothi is a non-profit training centre, so fees are kept low so that every deserving student can afford to learn. The fee depends on the course. Call your nearest campus for the current fee.
Which courses can I join after 10th or Inter?
With a 10th or 12th (Inter) pass you can join Medical Nursing Assistant, Medical Lab Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Assistant, Pre-Primary Teachers Training, Electrical and Electronics, and Tally Prime and Data Entry. Tailoring, Beautician (Basic), Spoken English (Level 1), Computer Basic and Home Appliance Repair are open to everyone, with no minimum qualification.
How long are the courses?
Most courses take 3 to 4 months. The healthcare courses (Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy and Pharmacy Assistant) take 6 months.
Will the course help me get a job?
Every course is built around a real job. Students train for work in hospitals, diagnostic labs, pharmacies, offices, salons, boutiques, schools and appliance service centres, or to start working for themselves. Most class time is spent practising on real equipment, so students leave ready to work. Ask the admissions team what job support is available for your course.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Students who complete a course receive a course certificate. Asha Jyothi is recognized by the Intermediate Board of Telangana. Certification details vary by course, so the admissions team can tell you exactly what your course offers.
